Its a long weekend here at the moment...yay!!
I've been making the most of the beautiful weather we're currently having by doing some painting.
Well, namely this...
I don't come across beautiful drawers like this very often here, so I definately wasn't going to leave it behind when I found it recently.
I knew I wanted to keep it old looking, so I distressed and waxed it, left the same hardware - but chose a modern grey color to bring it up to date.
Here's what it looked like before...
and after again...
I hope you are enjoying some nice weather too, wherever you are in the world!!
Happy weekend,
Courts x

Hi Courtney! Thanks for sharing that great project you did with us. Hey, could you take some close up shots of the piece so we could see the details of the finish? I really like the way you styled the top by having the plant in front of an frame...so clever. I saw your post over at "Two Thirty Five Design".
Thanks for adding that last shot of a super close-up of the great piece, Courtney!
I absolutely love this piece! I have started following your blog. The light colored top is great and so different from the dark wood I usually see.
